Smile!

It just occurred to me that I posted a decent photo on Facebook last night and that it might go well here too! :) I don't think I ever noticed before that I tend to smile more on one side of my mouth than the other - I'm trying to pay attention and make it more event... Oh well. This was at a belly dance thing yesterday afternoon...

I have been pretty good about wearing the upper retainer. It's not uncomfortable and sometimes I even forget that it's there. The real issue for me is eating in the car... I do that a lot because I'm on the go quite a bit. So, rather than dig out the retainer case, I've been just setting the retainer on my lap...and then completely forgetting it, getting out the car and walking away. So far, I've been able to find it each time - on the floor of the drivers side, next to the curb (in the dark!) at my parents' house, etc. Eek. I do the same thing with my cell phone sometimes - I'm lucky that nothing ever breaks!

First real winter day of snow today and a blizzard forecast for tomorrow. Fun!

That just made me think of this time when I was young (probably Elementary school) and my family and I were on our way to Disney World and had stopped at a McDonalds. I had a retainer at the time and would take it out to eat (obviously) and would just sit it on the tray till I was done eating. Well, we were in the car, back on our way, when I was like "Oh my god, Mom, I don't know where my retainer is". So obviously we figured out pretty quickly that it was in the trash can at the McD's. So we drove back there and my mom actually dug it out of the trash can. So gross!! haha But, she was like "Hell if I am laying out all that money for another one of those things!!" But anyway, just wanted to share my funny story and also to say you look amazing!! I only hope I look as good as you when all is said and done. :)
